A Letter from The Executive Director:
HFV Wilson Community Center Supporter,
Thank you so much for your continued support of The HFV Wilson Community Center! Since 1948, the HFV Wilson Community Center hasbeen providing after-school, summer camps, athletics, fine arts, and cultural enrichment programs to children and families throughoutSouthern Oklahoma. Due to inflation and other social factors, our services are needed more and more each year in our community. Ourmission is to provide support to residents of Southern Oklahoma in the following areas: education, cultural, and recreational services, social and mental health and wellness, and prevention services. Our purpose is to strengthen and enhance the quality of life for all who engage with the HFV Wilson Community Center.
Due to its size and age, our current facility cannot serve the needs or provide the necessary services to our community at scale. Our current facility is limited by our kitchen, classroom space, recreational spaces, restrooms, stage, reception area, parking, office spaces, conference area, and nursing/wellness clinic. Increasing the current spaces and adding the new spaces will allow us to serve over 20,000 more people each year, and expand our outreach and impact.
Please consider a donation to serve more families and provide a facility in Southern Oklahoma that will be a beacon of hope and service for generations to come.
Our Vision for the Future:
The proposed renovation and remodel project is a crucial step in realizing our vision for a more useful and inclusive community space. Withyour support, we aim to:
1. Expand program offerings: The additional space will allow us to introduce new programs and services that address emerging needs inour community.
2. Increase capacity: By building a new building we can increase our capacity to serve a larger number of individuals and families, ensuringthat no one is turned away due to space constraints.
3. Create a welcoming environment: The new space will be more accessible, inviting, and flexible. It will foster a new sense of communityand pride for stakeholders
Campaign Details:
1. Goal: Our campaign goal is to raise $10,000,000 to fund the demolition of our original building, and construction of a new facility and therenovation of the lobby and gymnasium
2. Fundraising Timeline: The first phase of the campaign will run from April 2024 to June 2024 and will continue until we reach our goal.
3. Your Impact: Your contributions will directly fund the construction of our new and remodeled facilities, propelling us into the next era of the HFV Wilson Community Center.
We invite you to join us on this transformative journey.
